Ref BL4    Reverse Crystal Cat Brooch

A reverse intaglio crystal set to a high carat gold brooch frame with diamond and ruby surround, circa 1890. The brooch is backed with mother-of-pearl.The subject, a tabby cat, is most unusual. The brooch measures 3/4 of an inch by 3/4 of an inch. The crystal carving is well executed and immaculate.
