Chrysoberyl serpent ring
An 18 carat gold ring, mid-19th century, in the form of a coiled serpent. The head of the ring is engraved to resemble serpent’s scales and is set with rose-cut diamond eyes and a chrysoberyl. It even has fangs and a forked tongue. The ring is size K and 1/2 [US 5 and 3/8]. It wraps around the finger extremely comfortably and is immaculate.
