19th century old-cut diamond cluster

Luscious diamond cluster ring, circa 1840. The high carat gold hoop supports a cluster head of old-cut diamonds in open backed settings, all diamonds set silver. There are approximately 4.10 carats of diamonds in total, of I colour and VS clarity. The ring is size O and 1/2 [US 7 and 1/4] and can be sized and the head of the ring measures 2/3 of an inch by 2/3 of an inch. Utterly gorgeous ring.
