Georgian rose-cut diamond cluster
Pretty Georgian cluster ring, circa 1800 -1820. The high carat gold trifurcated shank supports a cluster head of foiled rose-cut diamonds, set silver. The reverse of the ring is rayed and the total diamond content is approximately 1.25 carats. The ring is size M [US 6] and the gem-set head of the ring measures 1/2 an inch by 1/3 of an inch. Sparkling, immaculate, with the lovely steely hue of Georgian diamonds.
