Georgian Imperial topaz and pink topaz ring

A rather fabulous example of a late 18th century topaz ring. The high carat gold ribbed shank supports a head set with a large marquise-shaped golden Imperial topaz  and a large marquise-shaped pink topaz within a surround of rose-cut diamonds. All gems are in foiled and closed back settings. The weight of each topaz is approximately 4.5 carats. The ring is size N [US 6 and 1/2] and the head of the ring is 1 and 2/3 inches in length and 1/3 of an inch wide. A luscious, one-off ring in completely original and immaculate condition.
