Divium sigillium didestrie

A solid and substantial  15 carat yellow gold incised seal ring, circa 1880. The ring is engraved with an eagle, symbol of power; the sun, emblem of light and glory and a fleur-de-lis, signifying light and life. The Latin motto on the ring, divium sigillum didestrie translates as : the embossed seal of the Destrie family. There were a number of Destrie families in the Kent and Canterbury areas. The ring is size Q and 1/2 [US 8 and 1/4] and weights 7.4 grams. It can be sized. Thank you Prof. G for decoding this ring for me.
