Queen Anne opaline paste

A single Queen Anne paste earring, circa 1760, later converted to a brooch. It is silver and set with shimmering opaline paste and colourless black dot paste in foiled and closed back settings. The brooch measures 1 and 1/3 inches by one inch. As vibrant as the day it was made.
