Slithering serpent

A superb example of the skill and ingenuity of the Victorian goldsmith, an 18 carat gold stylised serpent bracelet, circa 1840. It is fully articulated and set with vibrant Persian turquoise. The bracelet literally slithers around the wrist. It is 7 and 1/2 inches long and 1/3 of an inch wide and in its fitted case. Superior quality, substantial and immaculate.
