The all seeing eye

A most unusual eye pendant circa 1890. Each side depicts an enamel eye with attendant Masonic symbols – a trowel symbolising unity and brotherly love and a gavel symbolising authority. The eye of Providence or ‘all seeing eye’ is a symbol depicting an eye enclosed in a triangle. It represents providence as the eye watches over mankind. The pendant measures 1 and 1/8 inches by 3/4 of an inch and is immaculate.
