17th Century Table-cut Diamond Ring
Fine quality and substantial table-cut diamond ring, circa 1680. The high carat gold shank supports a silver bezel set with foiled, table-cut diamonds in closed back settings. The arcaded gallery is filled with black enamel. The ring is size K and 1/4 [US 5 and 1/4] and the head of the ring measures 3/4 of an inch by 2/3 of an inch.
