Holland Park Jewels

Welcome to Holland Park Jewels, a collection of rings designed and created by our son in Australia. This is an independent business of his. He raided our collection of old bits and pieces accumulated over 40 years for pieces to salvage and repurpose and makes them into contemporary rings, using ethically sourced 100% Australian 18 carat gold and platinum. These are one-off antique intaglio and old, unheat- treated gemstone creations.

For me, each piece I create is a story, where the elements of the ring blend the old and the new. I let the narrative of the old gem I use dictate the form and mood of each piece I create. For me the greatest value lies in giving new life to an object created by hand so long ago. My aim is to preserve their essence whilst adapting them for a new era. It’s all about honouring the history of the original, while ensuring they remain relevant and wearable today. Andrew.
