Georgian garnet paste necklace

Shimmering Georgian garnet paste necklace, circa 1820. It is gilt metal and set with garnet paste over vibrant red foil. The cross is detachable. The necklace is 16 inches long and the cross measures 1 and 3/4 inches by 1 and 1/4 inches. Glorious colour, immaculate.
