Cupid’s arrows

A cleverly constructed pair of arrow earrings circa 1900. They are 18 carat gold and silver and set with old-cut and rose-cut diamonds. The symbolism is there as with all antique jewels – the arrows were a formidable weapon in Cupid’s armoury and diamonds symbolise constancy. The earrings are cleverly sprung and hinged so they sit well on the ear. Immaculate.
