Entwined serpents

A substantial and superior example of a double entwined serpent ring, circa 1880. It is 18 carat gold and set with a chrysoberyl weighing 1/2 a carat and a rose-cut diamond weighing 3/4 of a carat. The serpents have diamond eyes. The ring is size P [US 7 and 1/2] and can be sized, and the head of the ring measures 3/4 of an inch by 3/4 of an inch. It weighs 9.7 grams. Very fine quality and in immaculate condition.
