Figa
A talismanic figa pendant of a hand clutching a gold rod, circa 1840. The figa has been a potent symbol since ancient times. It was worn as a powerful amulet to protect the wearer from the evil eye and other dark and malevolent forces. While the standard figa hand (thumb between index and middle finger) warded off the evil eye, the added rod added impetus to this. This figa is set gold and is one inch long and immaculate.
