Firmament ring

Sweet firmament [night sky] ring, circa 1820. The high carat gold trifurcated shank supports a head set with a panel of cobalt blue glass, surmounted by rose-cut diamonds and within a surround of rose-cut diamonds, all gems set silver. The ring is size L [US 5 and 1/2] and can be sized and the head of the ring measures 1 and 1/3 inches by 3/4 of an inch. Very comfortable on the finger due to its curved shape and immaculate.
