Georgian coral tiara

An ormolu tiara, circa 1820, set with carved coral cameos depicting bacchante. Ormolu is antique gilt bronze with a high carat gold mercury amalgam, applied to create a durable, brilliant gold finish. The tiara is 8 inches in length and 1.5 inches tall front centre. Immaculate.
