Georgian diamond earrings illustrated in ‘Georgian Jewellery‘

A luscious pair of Georgian diamond foliate earrings, circa 1820. They are silver and set with 8.5 carats of rose-cut diamonds in foiled and closed back settings. The gold post and clip fittings are later and ensure the earrings sit well on the ear. The earrings measure 1 and 1/4 inches by one inch. They are illustrated on page 96 of the iconic publication Georgian Jewellery. Sparkling, immaculate.
