Georgian hand pendant

A Georgian love token, circa 1820. A high carat gold pendant in the form of a hand proffering a garnet, the stone symbolising passionate love and loyalty in the language of love. The hand is cuffed and wears a rose-cut diamond ring. It measures 3/4 of an inch by 1/3 of an inch and is immaculate.
