Georgian plaque ring

An elegant Georgian plaque ring, circa 1820. It is high carat gold and set with a plaque of vibrant cobalt blue glass surmounted by a trellis of rose-cut diamonds, the plaque within a surround of rose-cut diamonds, all gem set silver. The gold reverse of the ring is densely engraved. The ring is size L [US 5 and 1/2] and can be sized. The head of the ring measures 2 inches by 1/2 an inch. Very fine quality, vibrant and immaculate.
