Georgian rock crystal rivière

The quintessential Georgian rock crystal rivière, circa 1800. Rivière literally translates as ‘river’, a seamless line of gems encircling the neck. This ever so slightly graduated rivière is silver with a gold wash back and set with cushion-cut natural rock crystal [colourless quartz]  in foiled and closed back settings, with an integral rock crystal  clasp. It is 15 inches long and I can subtly extend it to 16 inches if required. The necklace sits well on the neck without turning. Very fine quality and immaculate.
