Gold serpent locket

A high carat gold opening locket circa 1880. The obverse is decorated with entwined serpents, one set with a Persian turquoise and the other with a rose-cut diamond. The serpents are within an acanthus leaf surround. The locket measures  2 and 1/8 inches by 1 and 1/8 inches including original bale. It is solid and immaculate.
