Love is the bond of peace

A chunky high carat gold posy hoop with rounded edges, circa 1700. It is inscribed to interior with the posy motto : Love is the bond of peace and maker’s mark DA. The posy is cited in Evans’ English Posies and Posy Rings.The ring is size M and 1/2 [US 6 and 1/4] and the hoop is 1/4 of an inch wide. It weighs a substantial 7.1 grams. Lovely original buttery finish, immaculate.
