Memento mori skull ring

Fine quality memento mori skull ring dated 1733. The high carat gold shank with bone shaped segments is inscribed on the outer hoop with the details of the deceased reserved on a black enamel ground : JOAC Ob. 10 Dec 1733. In the centre is a compartment containing the original skull device under table cut crystal. The ring is size M [US 6]. In fine, original condition.
