Rock crystal beetle heart

A large, plump natural rock crystal [colourless quartz] heart, circa 1880. It is surmounted by a gold beetle set with amethyst and foiled rock crystal. The bale is 15 carat gold. The heart is 2 inches long including bale and 1.5 inches wide at its widest point. Immaculate.
