Souvenir amité d’amour

An 18 carat gold chain Swiss enamel, circa 1830,  with repoussé links enamelled both sides in black and white polychrome enamel. The enamelled barrel clasp is inscribed : souvenir, amité, d’amour. The chain is 17 inches long and the links are 1/3 of an inch wide. In immaculate condition.
