Victorian Burma ruby cluster ring

Rather luscious Victorian cluster ring, circa 1840. The high carat gold engraved shank supports a cluster head set with a natural Burma non-heat treated ruby weighing 2 + carats, within a surround of old-cut diamonds weighing 2 carats in total of H/I colour and VS1 clarity. The ring is size J [US 4 and 5/8] and can easily be sized up and the head of the ring measures 2/3 of an inch by 1/2 an inch. Wonderfully vibrant and intensely fuschia- toned Burma ruby, immaculate.
